MMO Gaming Background

I began playing World of Warcraft on launch day (23 November 2004), creating my rogue (Jeseth) first and my druid (Byaghro) shortly thereafter, on the Stormrage server. Over the course of the past few years I have taken a couple of breaks in various lengths, returning most recently in 2008 and transferring my characters to the Hellscream server to join local friends in <devnull>.

My MMO gaming experience did not start with World of Warcraft however. Starting 18 February 2003, during the second BETA Testing phase, and continuing until the announcement of the “NGE” update in November 2005, I played Star Wars Galaxies. During my time with that game I served as the Teräs Käsi Correspondent on the official forums, where I was known as Ryutek (in game, on the Chilastra server, I was known as J’seth). Prior to and during my time in Galaxies I also briefly played Asheron’s Call, Dark Age of Camelot, and Planetside.

General Gaming Information

Aside from MMOs, I also enjoy various other types of games across multiple platforms. I can be found on Steam as Jeseth, or Xbox Live as AuthenticScarab on occasion, and also have a Wii (though I can’t remember the community identifier at the moment).

I am currently enrolled at Columbus State University (Columbus, Georgia) in pursuit of a Baccalaureate Degree in Psychology (returning after a nine year hiatus).
